This section aims to provide a more detailed description of a country's marine biodiversity. Also includes numerical statistics on abundance of relevant taxonomic groups.

Much of the information in this section was taken from various status reports, such as those produced by the Global Coral Reef Monitoring Network (GCRMN). As is the case with many other parts of the database, we are continually adding information to this section as reports become available. Eventually we hope to provide relevant information on all coral reef countries.
